If she finishes in the top 5 today, I'm gonna do a giveaway.

Think I'll have to pay up?

Did anyone else notice that the announcer said "Racers and Danica, start your engines!"? So...........what is she?

    PFFFFFT

quote:Danica Patrick tied her career-best Sprint Cup finish and brought the car home in one piece Sunday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Granted, 29th was the same place she finished a week earlier at Bristol, where she got caught up in an accident. But finishing six laps down with a nondescript day will be considered part of the stock-car rookie's learning process.

Yeah the 83 of Landon Cassil had bumped her for no reason a few times and she had enough. In the interview she said she had to set an example she isn't going to be pushed around. Good for her.[:)]

pretty damn certain nothing new can be added about danica vs anyone else on the track, or 45 vs 9...AK vs. AR... Ford vs. chevy or SF vs everyone else..

Seems like she always gets knocked out of the race by some "no-name" male chauvinist. Jealous of her popularity, her career and her endorsements/income.

Yep, she had enough and took herself out of the race. That is some good logic and a perfect excuse for for another DNF.

    Dan Iccapatrick.

I can't understand why this guy gets so much press coverage. A rookie who always crashes.

I heard that she really did have a wreck. Her car was upside down. The report said that she had a crack up.

Sorry guys. That is an oldie that is so good that I can't help using it over and over. It fits a lot of situations.

Did you happen to notice they set the most cautions of any track this year? So sad you have such a jealous envy of her.

Oops is right. Didn't turn out the way she wanted. But she made it very clear she will try and wreck the other party should they mess with her. She has a new crew chief next year. Zippy isn't going to be the guy.

She raced all the way up into 20th. If she would have acted like a grown up and just blown the doors off her antagonist she might have had a good finish, instead she DNF'd and looks like a fool.

But, no, she has to act like a petulant beioch, not taking any gruff. Well she is going to learn fast that sponsors and car owners don't like antics like hers. She is sliding in popularity, her sponsor is walking away and if she wants to compete in NASCAR she dang well better get a whole dose of humble.

The childish antics took her out of a race today and cost me a buck on my fantasy race team. I don't forget that kind of crap.

Her car owner should charge her for wrecking the car and 10K more for being stupid.

Probably get a good raise since Tony would have done the same thing . Least she is stepping up and not allowing folks to run over her without being paid back.

Wonderful payback, finish way back with the scrubs, take herself out of the race and leave her sponsors with less TV time.

She has a habit of feeling picked on; poor little bimbo, are the big hairy ape drivers mussing your mascara???

She needs to suck it up and FOCUS on GOOD FINISHES, she can play payback after she has at least a top ten. As it stand now she is a Dave Marcus that sits to pee.

Her and Jr should both just stick with the Nationwide series. Both get great tv coverage but neither one of them is cup material. Just because they are fan favorites, doesn't mean they can drive. :)

I am sure they knew there'd be drama before they got into it; they surely established her skills, and they probably know how men are.....this is exactly what they want. People watch racing for the crashes, now they get to watch a pretty girl crash.

This is a fair report on the princess with attitude.

    http://aol.sportingnews.com/nascar/story/2012-10-21/nascar-kandas-results-2012-danica-patrick-crash-wrecks-landon-cassill

    This sums it up well...........
"If you're going to make it three-wide and pass somebody, you've got to back it up," Cassill told SBNation. "But she didn't. She goes under there, and then she's sliding up the racetrack and then jacks up the field, gets in the way. Then she lets two cars go by, and when I get underneath her, she crowds me. So I was like, 'No! I've been faster than you all day,' so I was going to move her. And I did.

"I didn't hit her because she was in my way and I wanted to pick on her, I hit her because she was driving like an idiot for 30th."

    Ok,
    I am really confused now.

Earlier, there was a picture of a boy wearing a bikini sitting in a car. He was wearing makeup and he had long hair.

I don't know what happened to the photo. But it was here.

Pleeeeaaaaase, don't try to make the comparison. Before Stewart came to NASCAR he was already a USAC & IRL Champion. Danica is no Tony Stewart. She is more on the lines of being another "Buckshot" Jones.

How many NASCAR wins do you have? Better yet it looks like you don't have any fans or a record that can even come close to Danica

Select-fire, you simply can't defend her wrecking out of the Kansas race. Remember when Jimmy Spencer had to take some corrective action against a fellow driver??? I do. How would that wash if she got that type of correction???

She has POTENTIAL, she is squandering her chances at learning, earning respect on the track and hurting her standings by being an hot headed idiot. We have the idiot NASCAR duo now, the Busch brothers, they have PROVEN talent and many wins, she does not.

The woman has been knocked out of enough races for no fault of her own, a tennis shoe, some wreck beside her that sweeps her into it too.

This is different, she wrecked herself acting like a fool.
