Our 13 year old chihuahua-terrier mix runs the house...
She's the oldest, smallest, LOUDEST, and probably the most aggressive of the four dogs we have.
She holds her own and puts the others in their place...

While I know that any one of the other three could take her out at any time... She doesn't and could care even less...

She certainly isn't timid and only shows concern during thunder storms.

Yep... them chihuahuas are fierce fighters for sure...

my best buddy thinks he is a great dane, I
went down, and I have a emergency button, I used
it to get some help, when the ER team showed up
my best buddy would not let them touch me.
my dad showed up, took my best friend to the living
    room. everything worked out.

    They're even tougher in packs...

    http://kdka.com/watercooler/Chihuahuas.corner.lion.2.1043775.html

Size really doesn't matter, as a trio of Chihuahuas proved by cornering a full-grown, adult mountain lion in their owner's garage, reports CBS station KCBS-TV in Los Angeles.

Ana Lee Spray of Sage, near Hemet, heard her three Chihuahuas barking in her garage and went to check out commotion. Spray was surprised to see the massive, angry cat hissing at her and her dogs and immediately took her pets inside.

Spray called 911 and officers from the Department of Fish and Game tranquilized the mountain lion. The big cat had to be tranquilized again after running from the garage.

I looked at my Siberian and began to wonder if I was just wasting dog food...

Well, at least there will be two fewer pit bulls in the world.

Chihuahuas are brave. I have never hunted mountain lions, but have been told a poodle can tree one.

Bravery or recklessness, you can't argue that the 'lil basterds are game....

My neighbor has two rat terriers that charge me every time I'm mowing grass.

a few yrs back, a police officer was
giving a teenager a ride home, when the
teenager opened the door, 5 chihuahuas
attacked the police officer, he had to
go to the hospital for treatment.

Since this is a forum on GunBroker.com, I guess it's required that someone say this, so I will...yet another reason to always carry!

Small dogs always seem to be the bravest, at least from what media covers, and from personal experience.

Dislike on the pitbull comment, though. That's a whole nother topic, I guess.
