This year's Super Bowl might not be taking place in SEC territory, but that doesn't mean the conference won't be well represented when the New England Patriots and the New York Giants compete on Feb. 5.
The SEC leads all conferences with 23 former players being a part of both teams. The Big Ten is the only other conference to have more than 20 representatives in the Super Bowl this year. The Patriots have 13 former SEC players, while New York has 10. As far as active players go, 19 will be available for the big game.
Ten of the 12 SEC schools are represented -- Auburn and South Carolina weren't. Three Giants coaches also have SEC ties.
Here's a look at the players and coaches from the SEC:
