Shameless plug for a friend's L1A1 Sporter

A friend of mine has a wedding to pay for in June and is looking to sell off a few items so I have just listed his Century Arms L1A1 Sporter:

http://www.GunBroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=334027146

it is a nice clean rifle which was purchased back in 1996 and was according to him never fired (it certainly looks unfired). The price was set by him and if you are interested in a semi auto .308 please take a look. I am getting nothing from the sale of this and the other L1A1 items coming up later this evening other than lunch.

lunch? lunch where mark? that could matter here.

i went to lunch with a lady friend a few weeks ago. between the food and booze, it was a hundred and fifty dollar lunch.

that could be considered excessive compensation and you gouging us to pay for it...

Think the clock struck 12:00 and he should have sold it a few weeks ago for maximum money...just sayin.

Dont say that. Someone will be along soon to say how financially distraught he is for wanting to sell something.

I told him the same thing but he dragged his feet getting the gun and the parts to me (three weeks!). I absolutely refuse to sell anything for someone if I don't have it in my hands for questions and inspections and told him that simply sending me photos to use in the listing and keeping the gun and parts until it was time to ship was nothing like good enough for me to list it for sale under my name. I need to ahve it on hand and I take my own photos based on what I think buyers will want to see. He made his choices and set his prices but I get fed lunch no matter what the outcome [;)]

His finances should make a dramatic improvement as soon as June rolls around and he gets his middle aged daughter married and out of the house! Paying for the wedding should be a bargain by comparison.
