of a furnished home i have taking some items with them, sewing table an microwave.

but they didnt pay the rent that was due before leaving.

they did however leave a a cell phone with messags where they sold my microwave, pics of it too where it was posted online.

also in the photo gallery were pic of him shooting guns, he is a felon i forgot to mention that part.

so with these do ya'll think i have a chance of getting my rent money an maybe paid for the property im out?
or just let it slide?

it will have to be monday before i can get to the judges office anyway

If you are looking for a fight.

I say ****it! Live to fight another day. This guy has nothing left to lose if he is selling microwaves. He is trash.

Never let a criminal slide. Report it. May not help but at least you made the effort and there will be a record of it.

You rented your place to a felon.

Hind sight is always 20/20 but it seems you didn't set yourself up for success as a landlord.

not all felons are created equal, but they all did something.

he is young 23ish, needed a chance and i gave it, no good deed goes unpunished

Some felons are from tax issues and pot charges...

Others can be dangerous. Use caution.

Had the same thing happen, except instead of a phone, they left a house full of fleas.
Called the exterminator and wrote it off as an expensive lesson.
    Never again.

That would totally depend how they were before they left. Full Security deposit? I have a hunch the Sheriff Dept will call someone on that phone and they will give them up. It is larceny to steal any item. Highly doubt you will see any monies even if they go to court. However something positive came out of the whole mess.. Next time check out tenants before renting.
