If so how many points are those points worth being a king is ten, ace is fifteen, and two worth five.

Just wondering. First time playing with the girlfriend and I was told a straight is just that.

thanks.

i know i know i shouldn't being arguing with this women but hey, gotta take a break. will check back in a few.

Ace can be used as a 1 only and is only worth 1 point.

Nope! Doesn't work that way. The Ace can be played on either end but but if it is played as a One it is worth 5 points. 15 points if played as an Ace. If playing a run the Ace is the top card that can be played in a run so you can't roll over to a King, Ace, Two combo.

    We have always played
    2-9 are worth 5 points
    10-King are worth 10 points
    Aces are worth 15

Some people play that the 10 is still worth 5 points.

I agree. Ace, King, Queen. Or Ace, Two, Three. Only options.

I never ended up playing that hand.

Also had to redeal after I ended up with 6,7,8,9,10, jack of clubs in the next game right of the deal.

She told me that's the rules and she can demand a re deal!
