Remember when the AWB was in place and you thought 80 bucks was a deal on a glock 17 mag? Gun control right now is not on the radar. Things can turn on a dime if the political climate changes. Now is the time to buy. Remember you cannot have enough guns mags or ammo. buy buy BUY!!!!. (everybody is selling [:D])

I say wait until a month before the elections, and see how things are leaning. If they are leaning towards the current regime then buy ammo and magazines like you would food and water. If there are guns you like, want or need, go ahead and get them if you can.

I am certainly trying to get 2 more silencers paperwork in before the election.

50 million other people may be doing exactly the same thing and when you look at an inventory that says 50 cases available and ponder if you should buy a couple and then hit refresh and that number drops to zero well, who knows for sure but that is very possible.

Better to buy what you can now in the lull then buy again when/if things look like a sure Obama win and if Romney is the nominee and looks like he will win buy even more than if Obama will win.
    Remember Massachusetts???

We are screwed either way stock up now and as long as you can click buy

I agree, I have been buying here and there over the past year. pretty much have 10-15 boxes of every caliber in handguns. Most hunting rifles I have at least a box. Then I have 1000 rounds 5.56, 1000 7.62x39, 200 rounds 30-06, 500 rounds 7.62x51 and 5000 rounds of .22. There other little stuff in there, but I have been building up just because of the elections.

Got the 7.62x39 upper. Next is the 5.45x39 upper, a case of ammo, another can of 7.62x54r and a slide fire. Hope I can get all this done before say, July.

I know most of us gun nuts wouldn't want one, druther have a AR or AK of some sort. But Joe Six Pack out there, looking for a cheap rifle for when the zombies roam are buying them up. The distributors are all out of the Hi-point carbines. They are all on back order and none know when they will get any. Hi-Point may not be the fanciest carbine around but a LOT of people like them because they shoot a pistol round that matches their handgun. With very little recoil almost any family member can shoot it and don't have to mortgage the house to buy it.

You'd better buy as many primers as possible. Cheaper than ammo and can be used for barter as well.
