Well, that is one fine pistol in the .45, so if you like the 9mm I would suggest you get yourself one. That would make one fine carry piece. [8D]

I am at 450-500 rounds with my XDs .45 and she will shoot the lightest 185 grain load and the hottest 200-230 grain loads without an issue.

I cannot tell a lie....I fondled the "display" model we received today quite a bit.[:p][;)] Has a real nice trigger pull for a CCW gun. Competition certainly raises the bar IMO. It would be a real hard decision if I had to choose between the Shield 9MM and the XDS-9. REALLY like the fiber optic front sight too.[^]

So, 3 more rounds then the XDs 45.

I'm looking to replace my Kel-Tec P-3AT, now I have to decide whether I need those extra 3 (I just read 2)rounds the 9MM affords.

I carry my gun in my right-front pocket while doing construction, do you think this gun is safe enough to carry this way?

I always have a round chambered.

Right now I use a DeSantis Uncle Mike's pocket holster.

Safer than the Keltec? Yes, the xds has a backstrap safety.
