Tailgating Question....

We're tailgating the KU/Texas Tech game tomorrow morning (kick-off at 1100). We are taking the pop-up canopy, table, chairs and grill and we'll make some breakfast burritos for the group.
I have a quick question about mixed drinks. I want to mix-up some bloody mary's and screwdrivers for the pre-game and am not sure if I can mix them tonight and chill them until tomorrow. Is there a reason to wait till the morning to make the drinks? Is there is a "shelf life" on the drinks once they are mixed?
Thanks,
NS

Gas powered blender
Breakfast burritos and bloody mary's while tailgating?
Where's the hog and shine?
Mix will do just fine.
Don't add the vodka until ready to serve.
The guests won't know the diff..and you will have one less hassle in the A.M.
It's a tailgate event, dammit! You are not cooking for the Queen of England, for chrissakes!
Just do it! The event transcends the 'details'. Joe
that being said, for most cocktails it wont hurt anything to sit over night so if you must save that three minutes by doing it in advance, you more than likely wont suffer any ill effects.
The department in which I teach purchased 100 tickets for the game at $10/each, so tomorrow should be a great team building event!!!
taking all my girls (wife and daughters) to the game... should be a beautiful day for the game.
It's a great day to be back home... God bless America!!!
