Stopped at a local gun shop today. Nothing really catching my eye. On the way out the door, I see an old Mauser sitting in the rack. Being a sucker for old Mausers, I pick it up to take a look.
Wish I hadn't done that.[;)]
Numbers-matching BYF 43 K98k Mauser. Other than a couple small dings in the stock, it looked like the day it was made. Had to have been a Vet bring back. All the markings on it were clean and clear. Nothing stamped over, so it couldn't have been a R/C.
$299.
It's still sitting there, and I'm an idiot.[:D][:I]
