I worked with a guy whose last name was BOOB; I would give him names for any kids that he might have in the future, but I suspect he ignored my suggestions.

I used to work for the court system, the names that I can remember from all those years ago was a guy named Richard Sandwich, but he went with the nickname for Richard. There was also a set of twin sisters named Ima Moron and Youra Moron.

I work with a guy named Richard Lick......Im not kidding.

First time I saw his name on the hard hat I greeted him as Dick. That didnt go too well......he screamed that "my name is Rich!". Once I got to know him better he told me some stories of his time in high school, and they didnt sound fun. Gave me some thought on how to NOT name my kids goofy names.

Two that come to mind were Penelope Nickel (Penny Nickel) and Blu Munday. Some reliefers that signed up for free health care in Arizona listed a kid whose first name was Turbo. I worked with a Black guy whose name was McCoon. The dandiest was the last name of 'Veranessaneckakokkokoff'.

Joke: A guy went to court to have his name changed. The judge said that he could see why, as the guys name was Joe bababooey, and asked what the guy wanted it changed to. The guy replied, "Bill. I'm sick and tired of everybody saying 'Hey Joe, whaddaya know?' "

Actually, Female (fuh-ma-lee) isn't that unusual. When I worked for the welfare dept, one of my clients called me to add her new baby with that name. I asked, "How did you come up with that name?". She said she didn't pick the name, one of the nurses at the hospital picked it for her, & she liked it. (The hospital records show either male or female in the baby's first name field if the mother hasn't told them different.)

We tried to guess how our welfare mom's picked names. I think Savon was conceived in a car at the Savon gas station. But, most of them were beyond guessing.
