So, just because I find out that this old peep sight I have belongs to a Remington 14/141.....I am on a quest to learn more about this gun and to find the right one to fit the sight. [:0][:)][:I][8D]

    I recently acquired a 141 chamberd to 35 rem taking it to the range Thursday planning on using it for a upcoming hog hunt in Feb

    If you should use this sight on a 14/141, please do not use the 3rd hole wood screw into the stock. If this sight were mine, I would sell it on ebay and buy a vintage lyman tang peep. That 3rd hole for a wood screw ruined many nice walnut stocks. Stupid design! As for the gun, I always liked the md.14 and have owned 3 or 4 over the years, none were tack drivers, but never had any problems. You will be limited to the "remington calibers", I would suggest the 35 for performance and avail.
