might want to get better photos. the one with all the barrels in the case makes it look like all the rails are dinged up. The shot is not so clear. Looks like the set was well used.

    photo number 6..

Wow. Only ever seen a few 4 barrel Diana grade Brownings. Most were made in single gauges or occasionaly a two barrel set. Being you have the 28 gauge this will be a very high selling auction AND you started it at a penny. Damn I need to go drink a beer. Any guess's folks, I have a real good idea what they will bring.

That one would worry me a little too. The wood has definitly been redone but it does'nt look like the LOP has been changed. What is LOP?

I will be watching this one closely. I think it will do 10,500.

Well, in good shape that set would be well over 20,000usd

For something this rare, you need to stop the auction and get some really good photos. Grade your weapon and have several different shots of the barrels. Every little scratch needs to be shown.

You are going to be dealing with guys who are very specialized in shotguns. The more you show, the better it will do.

Sadly, if the auction continues with the shots provided, I bet you only get around 2500 to 3500 dollars for the set which we will probably never see again on gunbroker.

Can't you send this back to browning to be refinished and make a lot more when it is restored?

You do have balls of steel for putting it up like that. No reserve is crazy!

    GOOD LUCK!

    2500 to 3500

i hope it goes for a lot more

its 2524 right now with some friendly shills but who knows what it will max out at.

wouldn't this be a good candidate to send back to browning for refinishing?

I have never ever seen a set like this.

here is the way it works..... i buy gun for xxxx as long as i get more than xxxx for it i am happy, buy em cheap sell em cheap. if it sells for 500 more than i paid for it i made $$ and i am happy. or i could send it to browning and wait for God knows how long to get it back, and then sell.... i like $$ sooner than later, im out to make a living not make a killin

they aren't doing that. im just jacking my jaw with a typewriter.

if you have a no reserve auction, you can have your friends bid on the item or create an account to push the bids up or even place a huge one to see how high it goes. just cancel the transaction after the auction is over.

RS wouldn't do that, but a lot of people do on items of this level.

I have a list of sellers on here that I will not do business with. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

well, that is a good method. but it could be the difference between a profit of 500 bucks vs 10,000. my old man is more into this kind of weapon and he is drooling over it right now. we sent a rifle back to browning once, it took about a month and it was well worth it.

either way, this will be an exciting auction to watch closely.
