Have a fenced in area for a couple dogs. Not as much grass there as I would like. Is there a good grass seed that'll grow with some light trampling?

Hard to get and keep grass in a fenced dog area.
What zone do you live in?
I know. They are not out there 24/7.
Ok. If you have the climate. St. Augustine or SR9554 Bermuda are good. The shoots/leaves are very tightly compacted together making it very durable and weed resistant.
The only thing I have against Bermuda type grasses here. Is it takes it forever to green up in the Summer and it is slick as snot to walk on when it is dormant (brown).
If shade is a problem zoysia is very wear tolerant as well. Zoysia has to be planted with sprigs and sod also.

Bahia! That's what I have in my yard...
You beat me to it......[:D]
If that stuff didn't seed out it would be the greatest grass on the planet!
