Trailer Hitch Plug Question (PICS)

I just bought and installed a motorized wheelchair lift for my wifes car. The main power cable gets hooked directly to the battery. But I bought an optional license plate holder that puts the plate on a bracket above the chair. It was supplied with a wire for the light on it. It says it plugs into the hitch socket for the lights. I have no idea how this hooks to the car. They are two diff. plugs, plus are short about 3ft. Does someone know what conector to use? It's a 2004 GMC ENVOY.

Exactly, you need a an adapter for a 7 way to a flat 4 way plug.

They do as I had to buy one when I lengthened the tongue on my boat trailer.

Yes. They also make extensions.

Those are common items at boat shops

Amazon.com and the ebay will be the cheapest prices on these. Extensions there too. Your local stores will have them, but will be more.
