Subtle Indications Hillary is Toast.

Does anyone remember when Madam Secretary debuted on CBS amid much fanfare in 2014? I pegged it as a Hillary Clinton campaign propaganda vehicle.
Tonight while going over the TV listings, I didn't see it anywhere and decided to find out what happened.
The last episode aired on May 03 2015. It appears it quietly disappeared off of CBS's primetme lineup.
While it's still not listed as cancelled (like Hillary), I can find no mention of it still being in production. It appears more and more to me that people are realizing that Hillary cannot possibly win a national election.
Unless someone new pops up on the radar, I think the Democrats will nominate Sanders

Yep, that was part of the Hillary propaganda projection. They should have used Phylis Diller if they wanted it accurate.

I missed your prediction, but have thought the same thing. Who cares about the Secretary of State? Only someone trying to show a smart, decisive, powerful woman who is easy on the eyes and has a nice rack.

I always thought it was pathetic to see an attempt to 'portray' The Hildabeast by Leoni. Hillary has less personality than a pit viper.

LMAO, I heard that about Bill Clinton as well as Obama twice.
Hillary has already been coronated. She may be losing to several Rs in the polls, but she is way ahead of all the socialist nominees.
    Sanders is DOA.

If any potential S nominee comes close, the Clinton destruction machine will self energize and all competition destroyed with help of partisan operatives in the media and pop culture.

It would not surprise me one bit if the DOJ as well as other alphabet agencies join in on these attacks to help elect Hillary. After all, their job security would be endangered.

If I were a Republican with half a chance I would be begging Carly to join me as Veep.

That would push them over to the win side in my opinion.

nutfinn is right, but I damn sure don't agree with the little smiley thingamajig.

Trump has handed Hillary, his long time friend, a free pass to the oval office. He said if the Republican National Committee doesn't play nice and help him get the Republican nomination he will run as a third party candidate. We are about to see Ross Perot part II.
The road to hell is paved with COMPROMISE.

You could be right. Donald Trump hints that if he is not nominated as a republican, he might run as a third party candidate. His ego (and his wallet) are big enough to do it. That would split the Republican vote. [V]

The season was over, and it went into summer reruns like shows used to do all the time.

A google search of Madam Secretary, Season 2 revealed quite a few stories. I guess 'I didn't see it anywhere' does not mean you actually looked.[:I]

I suspect that the show in question was so clearly and obviously a political campaign piece that CBS was forced to cancel it before Hildabeast formally declared her candidacy or else risk having the show count as campaign ads under Federal campaign laws.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

Current polling still has her out in front of all "R" opponents.

The only "R" with the $$$ and poll numbers to give her a race is Jeb Bush.

    It's a very depressing reality.

Not sure what cow cookies means, but it takes about 10 seconds to see that filming has already begun and that CBS has announced when the 2nd season first episode will air.

Obviously, if you don't look for something that challenges your premise, odds are you will be successful in not finding it.

Cow cookies is what the censor uses for a more familiar word. Okay, glad you found that because I didn't see anywhere that it was still in production.

The latest Quinnipiac has her losing to three different R's in Iowa and two other 'swing states', and her favorable vs unfavorable is getting worse.

She was "invincible" in 2008. Funny thing is, I don't recall her winning.

Man, I sure hope you're wrong about this. What's the matter with our country???

I hope I am wrong about it. Maybe the numbers will change int he coming months. For now, it ain't pretty.

About "The Country", that's not it. Political races are never lost because there is something wrong with the Country. Political races are lost because the losing candidates failed in their task to convince enough voters to vote for them. It is the failure of the Republican Party and its many factions to own their failures that is at the root of those failures.

Ask what is wrong with the Party, with its leadership, its message to many different groups of voters, its get out the vote machinery, its ground game. Ask those questions and you are on track to why any candidate lost an election.

Yes, she is bound to lose some states. Nobody scores a perfect win. The nationwide average of General Election match-ups has Clinton the winner every time.

National polls are of little value for anything other than empty conversation. We do not vote nationally, we vote by state. Remove Iowa, Colorado, Virginia, and maybe Florida from the electoral total in 2012, and the R wins. 49 electoral votes needed to change sides.

I also disagree with your absolution of 'The Country' from responsibility for election outcomes. Campaigns are important, even vital, but just as central to outcomes is an informed electorate that realizes that voting for Santa Claus dressed up as a candidate will not bring success to us as a nation.

It is past discussing that many of the voters who checked the box for Obama did so simply because he was black. I can't imagine what 'message', 'ground game', or 'get out the vote machinery' is going to counteract that foolish, selfish stupidity.

Having run several successful local campaigns, I can devise something to do with voters who a few short days before the election have not made a final choice. I can deal with the ones we found who wanted further information.

What would you suggest we do with the ones who were blissfully unaware that an election was less than a week away? The city was covered with signs from both us and our opponents, we had sent out a series of 7 mailers in addition to the ones done by the other side. There had been articles in the papers, people waving signs on the side of major intersections, a debate between myself and another person that was televised, on local access cable, etc.

And there were a good 15-20% of voters who when we knocked on their doors over the final weekend DID NOT know an election was upon them.

The fault of the campaign? Not hardly. We do no favors to ourselves, our nation, nor our future if we absolve people of personal responsibility for the things that affect their lives. If we haven't learned that lesson by now, we are surely doomed.
