Most folks are reasonable folks, but some have no clue. This culture of animal worship that has, and continues to develop, is ridiculous. Animals now have more rights than children and certainly more rights than a working Joe.

    There were three other maulings by family dogs that couldnt be explained. But those dogs didnt have a mean bone in their body?

    I have eight dogs, all of which are great dogs. I have seen them get into a group frenzy before and start jumping on each other because they were excited by another stimulus like seeing deer run across the yard. Especially a couple of our male dogs we keep separated because something happens to get them going and they will get excited and gang up on one dog. I would never leave a child around my dogs unattended.

    It must have been something in the parents or environment of these dogs. The dogs would not have done this without outside influence. It can't be the dog's or owner's responsibility.

    Dogs are wild animals. People think they are domesticated. I think that is the point being made. If you are going to play with the bears, or lions or rattlesnakes and get hurt, so be it.

    Same goes for for different breeds of humans. Some are easier to domesticate, some will never be.
