I hate it. I got caught by surprise at the pump and mistakenly filled my tank with the wrong fuel for my van. I normally fill up at a Kwik Trip and a couple of days ago they rolled out this gas at my neighborhood location. Ran like garbage and I had to buy a fuel transfer pump and find someone who wanted this gas in their vehicle. Found a guy with a flex fuel truck and blessed him with a full tank.

Was able to get all but a couple of gallons out and then I refilled with regular 87 octane and some 92 octane with no added ethanol. Hopefully I didn't do any damage but mostly I wish they had put a bigger sign up on the pump. They had a little 3" x 5" sticker and that was it.

Anyone else had any trouble with this subsidized crap?

    E-15 is 15% Ethanol.

    E-85 is 85% Ethanol.

    Not Same.

E-15 will make Carbureted engines run lean.

While they should all be labeled this clearly, I note that the E10 info is a lie:

Accidentally put about 8 gallons of e 85 into my Ranger. Caught the mistake then pumped in about 9 gallons 93 octane unleaded. Topped it all off with a can of Seafoam and was good to go!

Actually, ALL of the manufacturers say that E15 will ruin standard engines.

And, scientists tell us that it takes more energy to manufacture any fuel with ethanol added than it saves.

This con was perpetrated against us by the Congress when it & the presidency were controlled by the arrogant, greedy, Democrats. Now that they are controlled by the arrogant, greedy, Republicans, no one will introduced a bill to reverse the mandate. Not much difference between either organized crime family, is there?

Oh, Mr Cat, it's illegal to use non-ethanol fuel in a road vehicle. But, I'm not going to turn you in. You're welcome.

Here in Virginia, we have many gas stations that sell non-ethanol gas. The website pure-gas.org lists all the stations that sell it. Not illegal to run it on road vehicles here, but some states it could be IDK. I know my stuff runs better using the 93 octane non ethanol fuel.

Yep, going green my *, using corn to make fuel when it cost's more than standard methods of making gasoline and actually results in more pollution of the atmosphere..
And the gov't hired a consultant to review the results of manufacturing Ethanol to reduce pollution and the results were that production ethanol from the time corn was harvest until it's used in a vec produces a very large percentage more pollution than standard gasoline production.

The Gov't did not like the results of that survey.

The Gov't kickback people could not take the truth. (and the consultant was not suppose to actually tell them the truth)
Gov't thought they were paying them enough to not tell the truth. Surprise, surprise.

Fewer and fewer stations are carrying the alcohol laced crap here in Idaho.

As you might be able to tell, I am against using food to make fuel. Also I am against using a fuel that actually harms my engines, makes them less efficient and was a scam from it's inception.

I have not tried the bio-diesel. Some say it makes your truck smell like french fries. Any truth to that rumor?

Yes Don that is what the sticker on the 92 octane pump said also but I thought it was clear I am not one to pay attention to what labels are on the pumps.[:)]

    I call BS.

I run GASOLINE, 100% GASOLINE, in my vehicles and small engines. I can only get it at one station locally. Now, last time I drove through Oklahoma, I found gasoline all over the place.
