If the races had been reversed, Georgia would burn

A year ago, a "white hispanic" shot and killed a black teenager under disputed circumstances....and Florida ended up on the verge of race riots because of it.
Today, two black teenagers murder an innocent white baby during a robbery.......where's the outrage?
Two teenage suspects, one as young as 14, have been arrested in the shooting death of a 1-year-old Georgia boy, who was killed as his mother pushed him in a stroller, police announced today.
Chief Tobe Green of the Brunswick Police Department said that Demarquis Elkins, 17, and a 14-year-old unidentified suspect whose name has been withheld because of his age, were arrested early this morning in connection with the baby's death, and both have been charged with first-degree murder.
"We are still investigating the motive, but we are trying to turn every stone to make sure we get a motive," Green said.
Green declined to provide further details, other than to say it continued to be an open investigation, and that no weapon had yet been recovered.
Under Georgia law, Elkins is considered an adult, Green said, but the younger suspect is considered a minor.
"We are still following up on leads from our witnesses and are still involved in collecting evidence," Green said. Search warrants had been issued at three locations near Brunswick, which has a population of about 15,500 people.
Brunswick police, along with a SWAT team and various agencies, had launched a vast manhunt across the Glynn County area in search of the two teenage suspects after the shooting on Thursday morning.
Sherry West, the 41-year-old mother of the child, told police she'd been walking her 13-month-old son, Antonio, in a stroller Thursday morning through their Brunswick, Ga., neighborhood when two African-American boys approached her and demanded money. When she told them she didn't have any money, West said one of the boys pulled out a handgun.
"He said, 'I'm going to kill you if you don't give me money,' and I said, 'I swear I don't have any,"' West told WAWS-TV in Jacksonville, Fla.
West said she tried to shield her child with her arms, but the gunman shoved her and shot the baby in the head. West was shot in the leg.
Going on West's description, police said they began looking for two African-American boys between the ages of 10 and 15 years old since Thursday. No details about how the suspects were arrested were given.
Officer Todd Rhodes, a spokesman for the Brunswick Police Department, confirmed that the weapon used in the shooting was a handgun but declined to describe it further.
Since the shooting, police said 30 different leads had been called into the Brunswick Police Department and the Glynn County Police Department, or were submitted through email. Police said the Glynn County School Board Campus Police had been assisting law enforcement in combing school attendance records for leads.

There is a war going on in America.
Your right, but not all of one side is aware
Brunswick, Georgia (CNN) -- Two teen boys in this coastal city were under arrest Friday, accused in the fatal shooting of a 13-month-old boy who was in a stroller being pushed by his mother.
Aided by a description and a check of school attendance records to determine who was not in classes Thursday, officers searched for the young suspects and took them into custody, police said.
The mother told reporters the shooting occurred when one youth demanded money.
Police expressed confidence they would find the weapon, believed to be a handgun.
Spokesman Todd Rhodes, who described the shooting as "horrific," told CNN's "The Situation Room" on Friday evening that search warrants were being executed in three locations.
Chief Tobe Green identified the older suspect as De'Marquise Elkins, 17, and said he will be treated as an adult in criminal proceedings. The 14-year-old was not identified because of his age. Both face first-degree murder charges, police said.
"We are turning every stone to get a motive," said Green.
Police said they received a suspect description from Sherry West, the baby's mother.
No other suspects are being sought, according to Rhodes.
Authorities were tight-lipped about the investigation, which was aided by helicopters and police dogs.
West earlier told reporters that the incident occurred at 9 a.m. Thursday as she was walking home from the post office, pushing her son, Antonio, in a stroller. She said she saw two boys.
"A boy approached me and told me he wanted my money, and I told him I didn't have any money. And he said, 'Give me your money or I'm going to kill you and I'm going to shoot your baby and kill your baby,' and I said, 'I don't have any money,' and 'Don't kill my baby.'"
The boy tried to grab her purse and opened fire when she said tried to tell him she had no money, West said, with the shot grazing her head. She said the boy then shot her in the leg.
West continued, "And then, all of a sudden, he walked over and he shot my baby in the face."
West said she tried to perform CPR on her son and that the police took over when they arrived, but to no avail. "We lost him," she said.
During the incident, the smaller of the two boys was hiding behind the larger one, she said. "I don't know whether it was his brother or a friend."

I sure hope they find it before it has the opportunity to kill again.
And maybe it's because we find it shocking when whites do terrible things, but maybe we expect it from blacks?
This doesn't excuse the decidedly skewed presentation of the news by the major media outlets nor the actions of these subhuman individuals (and anyone who would shoot a child in the face is indeed subhuman - I state that unequivocally). It's merely an observation that some elements of our society are more mature and civilized than others and that expectations and reactions vary accordingly.
Lets make one preident, and see how that works.[^]
Just an old country boys opinion.
W.D.
The double standard is appalling, but the lack of outrage stems from maturity, not a lack of resolve. Without trying to sound like a bigot, whites and Asians don't riot for the most part because they know it won't do any good.
Plus we don't like burning our own stuff. Stuff that we actually worked for and paid for with our own money.
So CapnMidnight, seeing what will happen when we elect our first black president is still somewhere off in the future.
Unfortunatly we now know what we get by electing our first socialistic/communistic American hating piece of poop![:(!]
Rack...you just don't know those Georgia boys at all! [:D]
?????...what are you saying[?]

I'd like to hear this explored on the Sunday morning talk shows . . .
Where is al and jesse, where is the outrage you ask?
It will show up when these two are sentenced, it will show up because Zimmerman is still living and not been hung from a tree in over a year

and in another "shocking" development, the shooters family is already denying his involvement and providing an alibi

I am shocked.
Maybe she was just another crazy white woman that killed her own child,,.....shot herself, and is trying to blame it on some good black kids?
Looks innocent to me. Check out his facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/demarquise.elkins/photos_stream
cant believe his parent hasnt taken that down yet
Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton??? They only get concerned if a black person is killed by a white person? Probably does not bother either one of them in the least that a little white baby was killed by two black kids. They probably figure that the white baby is paying the price for 200 years of "oppression". What a sick, twisted, screwed up country we live in now.
+1
when do we start looting the big box stores for justice?

Cops would surely do a gun residue test on the 2 persons of interest.

Its gone.
I noticed during the interview he was choosing his words wisely with a faction second thought prior to each statement until it came to the last "we have the two guity suspects in custody".
Was it a slip up by a professional peace officer or a sell out to politcial pressure?
The two males in custody for this crime will never be convicted since the cheif of police made a statement on national TV that they have the two guilty parties in custody.

Interesting point. Do you have a link to this statement as well?

Typical ghetto yute flashin gang signs in his photos. Also had references to murder on his facebook page.
