Remember these??
I just scored this off local Craigs list for $100 with original manuals. She was bought new by the sellers father in 1964 and has been his family since. Hasn't been run in over 25 years but I'm optimistic

I was in a restaurant down near gulf shores last year that must have had 50 old outboards like that mounted all around the walls. Quite a collection.

If that is a British Seagull engine don't worry it'll run. Those things are pretty much bomb proof.

That's not old, when I gave my bass boat to my son in law a few years back it sported a 1956 30 HP. Johnson on it that was barely broken in.

That brings back old memories. When I was a kid back in the 50's and early 60's I had one of these old Wizard outboard motors that I used on one of my Grandpa's Feather Craft Jon Boats that he rented out at his 3 Rivers Boat Dock near Knoxville, TN. I used to cruise up and down the Tennessee, French Broad, and Holston Rivers in it checking my trot lines and limb lines. It used to be fun riding the waves on those big old paddle wheel boats that used to run the rivers pushing barges of sand back then. I almost swamped my boat riding those waves one time. The bow of the boat went straight into one of those rolling waves and it washed back over the boat and scared me to death. [:)]
