Is there a screw on that poor thing that wasn't buggered up?
Only two that I see and they do not look to be original.

If it is a Fitz Special, that would explain the trigger guard and grip up to a point. J.H. Fitzgerald shortened barrels, rounded grips, opened up the trigger guards and bobbed down hammer spurs.
Did Fitz leave SAA hammer spurs completely original? The unmodified hammer spur doesn't seem to fit for a Fitz custom.
Could be somebody took a Fitz gun and messed with it, slapping on that front sight ramp, mis-matched dovetail blade and making a mess of the screw heads. Maybe replaced the hammer. Also looks as if the grips do not fit flat on the frame, or were loosely mounted in the photos.
Wow!
Seen modern single actions done up with hammers bobbed down as much as possible, then deeply serrated or diamond checkered on the top.
Don't recall ever seeing an actual Fitz job done on an SAA?

Yikes. Bubba strikes again.
Hey it wasn't me!
As hard as I try to hate it...........the concept is kind of cool but the execution is off. The buggered up screws, the front sight and the poorly fitted stocks are too much for me.
Then change the grip frame, barrel, weld up another trigger guard, change the hammer, all new screws, then have a pretty nice shooter.
Fitz (may he burn in Hell) only F'd up DA revolvers.
Always figured Fitz did his best work with a six pack or two in one hand and a Dremel in the other.......
