Cats are superior creatures. Not needy like dogs, and when the chips are down, they can and do feed themselves, and will still jump on your lap and purr. See what happens when you dont feed a dog for a week...it will try to eat you!!!

Some cats can be loyal....we one that loves my wife. A while back my wife got to feeding a ugly scruffy looking stray cat. This thing was mean too....but she had a heart for it, until it got all worked up to mate with female kitten we had that had just went into her first heat...it tried to get into the house, and my wife stopped it with a broom...then it turned on her, and attacked hard...scratched the hell out of her legs and bite hard enough to draw blood....our calico house cat came tearing out of the bushes and attacked this little evil buzzard till he ran away.....wife had to get rabies shots over it. Our cat was my wifes defender...never knew cats had it in them till this. The wife no longer feeds strays.

When I got home I went hunting for it, but never found it until I saw him run over on the road about a month later....good riddance to him too.
