Nomorobo set up today

Along with firing my bank and going with a credit union, got Nomorobo set up on my home phone today. Blocks automated phone dialers used by telemarketers from reaching the blocked number. Free service, so worth a shot.

    My pharmacy calls with an automated message that tells me when my prescription is ready. Will it block those types of calls too?

    Nope. Only telemarketers. Their website is well done and gives good details. Did get one call today, and phone rang once and stopped. Checked ID and was a telemarketer. So far so good.

    Just got around to checking that website. Our land line and wireless are A T & T and it does not work there. It said I should call and request "simultaneous ringing" be added to our service. Anybody know what that is?

    The simultaneous ring routes the call thru the Nomorobo system to determine if it is coming from an auto dialer, and if so, stops the call from going thru. Will not block legitimate calls such as doc appointments, school calls, etc. Have had it for several weeks, and calls from the telemarketers have stopped.
