is the one you spend waiting for your backup while some pcp perp is trying to take you down and the baton is just not working.

But you might very well be correct.
i think the longest moment of my life was seeing my son of 22 years laying in a casket[:(][:(][:(]
Yep, I think that trumps the first two.
is the one you spend waiting for your backup while some pcp perp is trying to take you down and the baton is just not working.Had a similar situation occur out on the roadside several years ago.
Except the guy was meth-ed up and based on radio recordings we were at it for 7.5 minutes before the first backup rolled up.
But in real time the guys were on their way when the flare poped.
Stopped all but 2 before the wire, and those two were a mess to get out of the wire.

.............. the minute I spent waiting for the video to time out and fault.
Longest minute in my life was when a coworker I was working with pulled a S&W Model 19 and shot me in the parking lot outside of the office. Happened at about 4:30AM. Talk about slow motion. I can still see the fire coming out of the barrel very slowly. What was really strange was not hearing the sound of the shot at all. I didn't know I was shot for several seconds.
This is a story that I would like to hear more of!
And Welcome to GB.
the happiest minute..hearing the results of the test.
damn, got goose bumps typing that, and it's been 9 years now.

Wow? How about a Paul Harvey "The Rest of the Story" on this?
