Went to my favorite pawn store today and the guy was showing someone three 1911's he had in the back. They must have recently came in.
The one of note was a 1912 commerical production modle in such great shape there was little to no wear on the magazine from being inserted or extracted. Pawn guy expects to sell it for 12 to 13,000 bucks. NO sale when I left. The other one was a 1912 commerical 22 caliber 1911.
Saw some bakelite AK74 mags under the glass. Looked Russian or maybe east German but were East Block military for sure as they were steel re enforced. 25 each but I don't have that caliber.
They had a new SKS in, bubba had dome some work on it. Stock was all carved up and the front sight removed and barrel shortned. NO finish from the gas block forward. Looked like something a burgler would use. Hope they did not pay too much for it.
