I think he made the parent company an offer they couldn't refuse. The parent company has a billion dollar contract making F35 engines.

    While the brown house (for a short time) has a point about job creation, the difference is obozo's jobs were for many of the group that is protesting for a $15.00/hr wage and as hobo mentioned another group is fed positions. I hope Trump carefully reviews those. Carrier offers a living wage and that a huge difference.

    The arrogant left was never able to correct its dogmatic approach. In order to avoid its fall by elections, you can not cheat on everyone every-time, the solution was "social engineering" or diluting / replacing opposition by letting in (mostly illegally) aliens by millions while having many more dependent on government handouts. Unlimited multiculturalism, politically correctness, open borders, etc. were opiate for usefully idiotic others. Trump's victory demonstrated that "the Islamophobic, ignorant, racist deplorables" can defeat the establishment even when it is supported by the media, money, corrupt law enforcing institutions, hallucinating superstars. The hard work for correcting course is still ahead.
