Internet rumor comes round again

We've all seen the stories about convenience stores owned by foreigners refusing to serve military men in uniform.

Someone started this same rumor about the only downtown convenience store in our small town. The owners are Indians, they don't give a darn what you wear as long as you're spending money.

It's hard to believe anyone with the least bit of critical thinking ability would take this rumor at face value, but it's gone viral on local facebook users pages.
I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly

I don't think Indian Store owners would have much of a problem with service men but a guy in uniform might have a hard time getting a cab [:D]

The Indian gentleman who owns a store in our small town always asks about our two military sons.
He sold them licorice and sodapop the whole time they were growing up.

The other really tiresome one is: "Did you see the BRAND NEW USA TODAY Gun Poll? You just HAVE to hurry over to this hotlink xxxxxxx and vote right away!"

Gawd, I get that one about once a month from some noob that doesn't look at the date on the hotlink, November 2007.

Really, it makes me wonder sometimes whether people that gullible SHOULD be trusted with firearms. [;)]

I have found them to be very honest, have had a few to chase me outside of different stores to give me extra money when they realize they've shorted me, THAT is refreshing in my mind. When you get to know them they're OK people. What is funny to me is it does'nt take them long to learn of the bad ways/habits of a certan minorty here in the US.

It is amazing how some people are so dumb that they forward on rumors and internet "stories" without ever bothering to see if they are true.

it happens so often here it really makes you wonder.....

Hey, middle easterns, no matter what their political or religious belief (or lack there of) are an very, VERY interprising group. That said, It wouldn't make sense for anyone with an I.Q. above 10 to believe such horse snot

Hate to sound racist, but it sure seems that some ethnic groups have a much stronger work ethic than others. The Indian and Middle Eastern business owners in my area are excellent businessmen and always very friendly and accommodating to the customers. Some of our "native-born" businessmen could take a few lessons. [:D]
