Las Vegas Guns and Ammo

We were in LV this week and I visited a lot of gun shops as well as a gun show last Saturday. Glock pistols and similar were almost non existent and the clerk at The Gun Store say they can't get them. The gun shows back in Iowa have stacks of them.
22 LR, 223 and 308 still in short supply and high priced and not much of anything else either.
I went to Battlefield Las Vegas and shot a full auto AK-47. I only paid for 50 rounds but he threw in another 25 round mag cause I shot well (aimed bursts) and could operate the safety and change my own mag. Gun tourism is huge in Vegas now. Not only full auto but just semi auto pistols for foreign tourists who can't own any kind of gun back home. What would a mag ban do to these businesses?

We had some British exchange students at UNR a couple of years ago and invited them out to one of our steel plate shoots. While they were there we strapped some handguns on them and taught them to shoot. They were SO excited about walking around the range area with REAL handguns on, they pretty much exhausted their cameras capturing all of the fun. They were making statements about how cool it was and how none of their friends back home would believe it without lots of pictures. Their friends knew they were visiting the "wild west" but didn't realize how strong a factor guns still are in our culture. They were also impressed by how many people in Nevada carry all the time, both openly and with CCW. [:D]
