Old flint lock used in "All for liberty" Pics

My wife made the period costumes for the movie and even had a non-speaking "extra" type part in the movie. Her aquaintence (sp) with the Felder's provided me the chance and the great pleasure of repairing this gun that was brought to me as a rust bucket and non functional. I made it work and they used it in the movie "All for Liberty" It was kind of scary due to the poor condition of the gun and my fear of breaking something that couldn't be replaced easily. Clarence Felder told to to do the best I could and not worry about it and all went well.
They even had to "shoot" him on my property since the parks would not allow it. In the credits he thanks Dogwood Farms.
Clarence also played in the last boy scout with Bruce Willis he was a cop that got killed in the movie. I guess come to think of it he gets killed in all the movies :)

Congrats. A tidbit to remember for all time and pass down to the grandkids.

It's fun work when you get the chance.

If you get up this way, stop by and I'll show you my 1842 Palmetto Arms musket.

Pretty wood on that old flinter. It looks like an officer's fusil. Nice job!

Ha HDColt51 Yeah that is Clarence and he looks older than me! I think HDColt51 meant the picture of me wearing the coat the wife did, and uit isn't THAT much different than how I look now stil have the gray hair just added a stash.

Don't pity him for dieing. I've never heard of an actor that didn't just LOVE a chance to play a death scene. It brings out the ham in them. [:D][:D]
