My grandson Jedidiah and me killed a hog yesterday morning and butcherd today.We put a hind quarter on to smoke at 5 this morning and just got done eatin most of it.Jed said it was good but we need to go fishing tommorow, killin hogs is like work and fishin ain't.Out of the mouths of babes comes some good stuff.He even wants to let his dad come along even though he didn't help on the hog.This is a damn fine youngun my friends

    As some of yall know my grandson Jedidiah is quite special to me.Well today me and Jed was splittin a steer for butcher and my oldest girl comes to the barn cryin.Well Jed loves his aunts a whole bunch so he goes and loves up on her a says whats wrong. She looks at me with big ole beagle eyes,wet with tears and says papa I'm gonna have a boy.Well she aint wedded but she is engaged to a feller in the Corp who shipped about 3 months ago.He is a alright kid and I know he aint got no rabbit in him so I reckon it'll be okay.Anyhow Jed goes to whoopin cause theres another boy comin to play with.Life is good but damn I'm gettin old

    Fishing is good time too

    Making Memories that will last a Lifetime...

    You are to be congratulated, and I Envy You - My Daughter came along later in life, and is following the same program - I will likely be over 70 before I might get a Grandkid.

    Maybe you could have someone cut those words from your Young Sage into a Plank, and Give it to him when He Is Older - Would be cherished, and reeducate/remind Him of Early Times.

    Well me and Jed went crappie fishin and got 14 good keepers and one 7LB channel cat, so we are fixin supper for evebody but Jed says Nanny got to fix the hushpuppies.This gives me some hope for the USA not to turn into the * kingdom,there has to be more like Jed out there somewhere
