Any real provenance, other than the photo's?
I'd be a bit leary that some police dept's may have given the real ones to some of the officers that took'em out..

Not sure I would spend the amount of money required for a gun connected
to historical events. There is a lot of "blue sky" in the cost, and
faking items is a full time occupation for those looking to make money of of their endeavors.

My guess is that there is enough provenance that the auction house is willing to advertise the guns as authentic.
