Are u a Copycat Teacher?

Copycats:

Young kids have to figure out everything about the adult world. Think about it: They have no innate understanding of how to get peanut butter out of a jar, or how to switch to the cartoon channel, or how to tie a shoe. So they figure these things out mostly by watching others very closely-and aping what they see. So how are you teaching you children?
In the 1st picture a boy sees his father yelling and giving the finger, so now what does he do, he copies his father.

    I am a product of catholic schools. If i was caught doing that I would have been beaten within an inch of my life by the nuns then i would go home and really be in trouble.

    I have to think the George Bush Pic is photoshopped, but I agree kids learn by what they see and hear.

    To keep from being hypocrits parents need to keep that in mind. There was a country western song about that. The father is driving home with his little boy and hears the little boy say a cuss word when a driver cuts them off and caused all his fastfood to spill in his lap. The father is stunned and asked the little boy where he heard that word and the little boy proudly stated he had heard it from HIM and that he wants to be JUST LIKE HIM. The father goes home and has a revelation while saying his prayers.
    Just something to keep in mind when you are raising your kids. They see and hear a LOT MORE than you think. [;)]
