OK this guy says shipping is $60 for over night, but if he breaks the gun down & ships the frame only to the FFL it will be $35. Then ship the other parts directly to the buyer for $10. I don't see how it would make any difference if you break it up or ship the gun whole? Those who ship handguns please school me.

It's not like a long gun that may cost more assembled due to shipped size.
The frame is not much smaller than the fully assembled gun.
And if you can ship jus' the frame for $35... Why not the entire gun assembled ???
Agreed...

That was my thinking.
I hope he doesn't think shipping a frame only permits him to avoid notifying the shipper that his package contains a firearm.

As most here know an FFL may ship USPS, there's no cheaper way to ship a handgun. I found this gun shop near me and have never been charged over $25 to ship a handgun:

If you find a local FFL to ship a handgun you sold, do yourself a favor. Drop by a USPS office and pickup a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box to fit. Pre-pack your gun, but do not seal it up. Take that open box into your local gun shop to ship for you. With part of the work already done you start out making a good impression.
I've done it on a half dozen handguns, best deal there is.
