"If everyone had guns there would be fewer guns in the stores."

"Marriage is meant for people who wear different kinds of swimsuits."

"I think of it as people being mavericks or not being mavericks."

That's a funny lady right there!

She's right about that first one. More people do have guns and there are fewer guns in the stores!

I feel sorry for her in a way. Her obvious disrespect for conservatives aside, she is a quite talented comedienne, but she will forever be known as "the woman who does the impersonation of Sarah Palin."

I hear what you are saying. When the time came to stand up and be counted, she chose to allign herself with the forces of darkness. And surely she was rewarded handsomely for it.

Just a shame to have made such a short-sighted choice, but she made her bed...

One can tell who the liberals are scared of most by how aggressively they pursue the demonizing of certain people. In this case Sarah Palin. I can't think of another woman that has been demonized by the Dems as she has. A strong willed, honest, intelligent woman scares the hell out of them.

I try NOT to go to liberals for entertainment! I stopped watching SNL just because of her. I wonder how much the viewing audience dropped because of Tina Fey.

I agree, she is talented and funny, BUT I also believe she could be Hanoi Jane's successor. She is an avid Obama supporter!..... I'll say no more! [;)]

Funny thing if any care to recall....The first time she did an impression of Palin she used the words of Palin verbatim. If any of you remember that rambling regurgitation of sound bites and non-sequiturs then you'll know why I am chuckling at the thought of Palin as a serious candidate for any office.

Tina Fey is a comedian and that is all. I don't look to entertainers to determine my political stances. Just one more reason I don't watch TV. Everything on tv is propaganda and I prefer to make up my own mind.

And what's up with James Lipton? Would he have James Earl Jones on and say, "Hey, James. Do Darth Vader..", or Al Pacino and say, "Hey Al, do Tony Montana...indulge me."

There are comedians and actors I will not watch because of some of their actions outside of the entertainment industry.

Jane Fonda for obvious reasons, Sean Penn and others for their outspoken advocacy for things that are contrary to what I believe is best for this country, etc.

Tina Fey, though outspoken in her leanings, does, IMO, rise to the level of many, and not one that I personally boycott.

She is an extremely talented and funny woman, and I enjoy her.

Yes, I have seen various actors and actresses encouraged to give the audience (all acting students) a bit of some famous character.

Tina Fey is funny as hell and has made millions being so. Not on Palin, on her other TV shows. Doesn't make her right or wrong about anything, just makes her what she is. A funny lady who makes money being a funny lady.

Never could watch 30 Rock though.

Alec Baldwin stopped being worth my time when he left behind good work like Hunt For Red October, Glenn Garry Glenn Ross and a couple other films. His politics got to be too overbearing, like threatening to both flee America for Canada and also to run for Congress.

    Alec Baldwin - BLECCCHH!!!

Tina Fey - Funny! More Please!

I hardly watch TV ... I watch our local news before bedtime and before leaving for work if that! I don't go out of my ways to seek TV entertainment. Actually, ran into the link when I open the link provided in the "Boy, Liberals are stupid ..." thread.

Read this one years ago when she became well known.

Fey was 5 years old playing in the front yard of her home. A stranger walking by attacked and slashed her across the face, then ran off. No suspect was ever identified.

Actually no she didn't. Tina said that she could see Russia from her front porch or something like that. When in fact Sarah said that you could see Russia from part of Alaska and in fact you can.

This was just more Liberal BS trying to make Sarah look the fool when in fact Tina made herself look the fool.

Nope, attacked by a stranger when she was five years old. Just walked into the yard where she was playing and slashed her.

As you are clearly a fan, here's another great pic:

That isn't the line I was referring to. These are. See if you can make sense of them...Nobody else can.

Palin replied: "That's why I say I, like every American I'm speaking with, we're ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out.
"But ultimately what the bail-out does is help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Helping the - it's got to be all about job creation too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track.
She went on: "So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans and trade - we've got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, scary thing, but one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today - we've got to look at that as more opportunity."
