is a huge flop?
His quote about guns:
"There's just too many f***ing guns out there," Neeson told Gulf News, when asked about the shootings at the offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. "Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There's over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America."

and his latest movie toting his expert marksman skills

Quote:
Liam Neeson's Run All Night attempted to provide counter-programming to Walt Disney's Cinderella but didn't quite cut it. The Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc. picture, which concerns Neeson protecting his son from mobsters, earned a mediocre $3.85 million on its debut Friday, including $455k in Thursday previews. This is sadly his lowest Friday debut as a straight action lead since Taken turned him into an action star.

I did enjoy Taken, but will never waste another dollar on any of their movies.
Anyone have a trustworthy list of pro/anti gun actors so we have somewhat of an idea who to support? Seems I remember one from years ago, but not sure how reliable it was.
In the mean time, guess I'll keep watching old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. Oh, and Chuck. Gotta have some Chuck. You know, Norris?
As far as his opinion, hey hollywood
types are weird.
Ireland is sucking economy wise now so we'll probably see more of that kind here.
We got rid of one British Isle anti gunner and now have a replacement.
If people would stop giving them money, its going to hurt them and the movie companies will stop paying them the big bucks to handle a gun. Did you see the main Hollywood gun company refused to work with Liam on this movie.
He is with a bunch of oil field workers up in the Arctic and their plane crashes in a snowstorm. About 8 guys survive the crash.
One by one, they are picked off and eaten by a pack of grey wolves. These are young, big, tough oil field workers.
In the debris of a crashed airplane there would have been all kinds of weapons. You could have gotten a chunk of metal and lashed it to a pine tree branch as a club. All kinds of wiring available to you to lash that club together.
You probably could have made a good sword from the debris.
At the least, you get an 8 foot, 2 inch diameter pine tree sapling, sharpen it to a point, harden it over the fire for a few minutes. Each of the men are armed with a spear.
'Ol wolf pack comes up, you give the lead wolf a spear through the chest, or guts, or hind leg, doesn't much matter, the rest of the pack will get the message. Wolves are very intelligent, they would have moved on to easier prey.
These guys just ran through the snow like a troop of frightened Girl Scouts, getting picked off one-by-one over several days and nights.
I must say, I would have had a good time figuring out how to fight these wolves.
.
I like his films, in general, but I must say he played an inept fool in The Grey.

Used to like him and his films. Even felt sorry for the guy, the way his wife died and all. But then he opened up his yap on politics and not in a small way.
"The Grey" was an exception from before I heard his political speech. I saw the TV commercials and read about the movie. Saw some interviews. The idea just sounded so idiotic I took a pass on that one. Sounded like one of those horror movies where stupid people keep going out of the way to let the monster kill them.
