    I carried on the Georgia Tech campus when I got my permit. No metal detectors anywhere. I don't think that it was a no no back then. It certainly is now. They even gave me grief about my pocket knife last year. I just went around the corner and put it down in my pocket instead of clipped to the top. idiots.....

    I doubt the college will permit it...a student went nuts about a year ago,and was shot and killed by campus police...I don't think the management will allow the CC on campus..

    Been a number of attempts to make that happen here in Arizona. The closest they got so far, the last Governor vetoed it. Happened so fast I never got a chance to read the bill and it was dead. Various supporters claimed it was so poorly written it opened up state employees to Federal prosecution if they tried to enforce it on school property. Supposedly that was why Jan "Finger Wagging" Brewer said no to it.

    We have a new governor who is something of an unknown quantity. Number of pro-gun bills working thru the grinder, should find out what Doug Ducey is made of soon enough.
