I really love Rugers , but I compared the Ruger lc9 to the already proven sr9c and there is not much difference in size . Yea you could probably put it in your pocket ( lc9 ) but I would rather have 17 rounds at my side, than 7 rounds in my pocket. I think I will be sticking with my sr9c. If I need something in the pocket I will carry my LCP

Picked one of these up a couple months ago. Concealability is outstanding for a 9mm and the accuracy shocked me. I figured if I could keep them all in a pie plate size group at 25 yds. it would be sufficient. To my suprise I was able to print 2 inch groups at that range. Has become my new favorite light clothing rig. Still use the Glock 36 for heavier clothing.

Morning,I bought an LC9 last week
with a laser. It's appears to be
a nice summer gun,but this laser
add on appears to be just another
marketing scheme. Do any of you folks
own one and do you feel the laser
will come in handy on such a small gun.
    Thanks-ron

If you are out there Ruger.. I would like to see a .32 auto in the same size as the LCP. I love the LCP but is to much for my wife to handle..

I am surprized that Ruger doesn't offer the LCP in a 32

Yea I am kind of glad they don't though because I would have to buy one for the wife and buy one for me to throw in the glove box, and also one to carry on my ankle, Ruger is already making broke. Ruger LCP, Ruger SR9C, and the Ruger Mark iii .22.. And now I am even considering the LC9. and I would love to also have the LCR .357. ( man I need to win the lottery )

Well I lied to myself, after further research I think I will be purchasing the Ruger LC9, and will replace the Kel Tec p-11. I do not want to go into why the change of heart , The Ruger LC9 just seems to fit my wants and needs.

Wait at least 6 months for all the kinks and recalls to run their course.... Then buy it.

    Good advice.

The LC9 is already showing up in GB auctions:

The idea of being first to buy anything makes me nervous. Too much stuff these days needs some fixing once it gets into the public's hands.
