What an insane piece. This guy starts wagging his finger you know somebody is going to get shot, or fed (alive) to dogs, or worse. Plus their wives, kids, uncles, pets, etc etc.

    It's hard for me to imagine that he can last much longer. Even in North Korea there has to be somebody with balls enough to end his rein of terror.

    Yeah, but it looks like turtle farming might be pretty lucrative if you can stay alive. That's a very nice turtle barn with hanging plants and wide terrazzo aisles.

    It seems to be a trend these days not only in North Korea but a lot of other countries seem to have impaired testicular development and can't control their leaders.

    If NK's fearless leader can find time to personally deal with a crisis at a turtle farm, Kim is either the ultimate micro manager, or he has too much time on his hands.

    It's a tradition started by his father, possibly his grandpappy too. The image of the All Knowing Leader - Teacher - Father To The Nation. The leader turns up at these photo-ops of every imaginable sort. Where he advises and gives guidance.

    The generals, engineers, scientists and managers are all seen on camera following his every word with intense interest as they take notes in notebooks. All these people holding the notebooks up high making certain the camera catches them scribing down the leader's every bit of wisdom.

    It could be a diaper factory or a nuclear reactor, doesn't matter. The show is part of the culture of worship. Reverence for the leader is the required national religion. Not that they call it that.

    What happens if someone isn't seen to take careful notes? To pay reverent attention to his every ignorant and meaningless utterance?

    Well, a quick death is one of the better options.
