Guntersville Gun Ordinance Proposal Blocked

I don't know if anyone else has reported it so here goes. The proposed ordinance to make it easier for a LEO to confiscate weapons during an emergency was withdrawn, primarily due to overwhelmiing public opposition. Way to speak up Guntersvillians! [:)]

    Yup, couple other threads on it.

    Small World sometimes - Know a guy who lives there. We talked. Mayor is a nice accountant lady who does his taxes.

    The entire city council got swamped with phone calls along the line of "Are you nuts!"

    Nice place, much of the town is on an island. Real pretty area.

    Think they are going to need a new accountant in town though [:(]
