Everytime I open the forums an Applebee's ad plays.

D@D, several of us are having problems with, add's, popups, & promps asking if it can make changes to the hard drive every time we come to GB. When we ask about it most of the time we are scolded or treated as if we are stupid, I am running CURRENT versions of popup blockers, malwarebytes, 2 different anti-virus and a Registry power cleaner and I still get at least 1 a day when I come here. as bad as I hate too I am going to do the adblocker today to see if it will stop. I understand this is not GB but I do believe it is someforce attacking its members.

I received an email from a friend that does computer work for the military warning to stay away from CNET and do not download anything from them. If you download malware, ad blockers and such from their site. It is a good chance that you will download a virus along with the program.

Most of the time the Ads do nothing but show up. GB has to pay for this side somehow.

They did have one I think last Sunday That was one of those flashing ones telling me I had won something. Did not take GB long to get rid of that one.

One of the good thing about windows 8.1 it keeps the ones you guys are talking about from showing up.

But me being on DSL they sure do slow the forum down.
