If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Have a Shiner Bock and call it a day.
Dont have Shiner bock around here (in PA) but we do have Yingling. Its a good beer and non-union made.
I would like to try Shiner Bock, I heard a lot about it.....anyone want to trade a case of yingling for a case of shiner? I think its legal to ship ONE case of beer isnt it?

I had a Schlafly this weekend and I liked it.
Schlafly is good stuff. I concur, I have a partial sixer of pale in the fridge.
But no where in the world has better selection than WI.

It's Yuengling and oddly they did boot the union http://beeradvocate.com/forum/read/1017784
Some of their stuff is good, some not so much so.
Fat chance getting shiner in PA, I had a hard time buying crappy beer there period.
Shipping it there would probably be a felony.

I have no problem getting good beer here! Just never got Shiner Bock.
We have lots of micro-brews here, most of them are good.
I didnt know shipping beer is a felony.....Why is it??? Taxes or something? I know I can drive, anywere, buy beer and bring it back, but I cant ship it??? thats stupid...prohibition is over!
Bud for me thanks, Bud Heavy.[:p][^]

neither can most of the people that drink it. ive dont the blind taste test with my friends a hundred times. every time one of my cheap canned piss water swilling friends gets to ragging on me for spending so much more on good quality beer, i have to prove to them how crappy and identical their lawn mower beers are. 1 time in the dozens of times ive been through this has a guy been able to pick his beer out of the samples.
i personally dont care what beer you choose to drink. if its your money, you should drink whatever makes your flag fly. but you shouldnt try to make the argument that your 10 dollar twelve pack of watered down crap is "every bit as good" as my 9 dollar 6 pack of excellent craft brewed beer. theyre in totally different worlds.
Doing my part to bust the union
Welcome to the Guinness Staff Union Webpage.

That's just one, back in the old country. Guinness locations around the world have various unions.

I believe that bears repeating.[:p][:D][^]

First time I was in PA on a job. Philly area, after lunch had to make a hardware run to Fastenal, stopped at a grocery to pick up some beers for my crew for after work. Can't buy beer in the grocery store. WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
long story Beer buying in PA is a PITA and you have to buy a case of Ponys.

A case of ponys????? havent seen them in years! In PA you have to get cases of beer at a distbutor, which are privately owned and the harder stuff from a wine and spirts store, which is owned and operated by the state!!
You can buy up to a 12 pack at a bar to take home, or a eating establishment that has a licence to sell beer.
Recently the state set up wine kiosks in grocery stores, but they suck to use.
Some townships are still dry here too, but every year there are fewer of them.
All this is from right after prohibition was repealed, and we are way behind the times!!!
