Mixed head stamps.

I'm tumbling, depriming and sorting approx 2100 pieces of mixed 9mm brass.
(Bot from an excellent seller and member of GBGD)

The usual Winchester, some Blazer, a couple of tullammo, some 380 as would be expected, so far one piece of IMI Carb 9mm (which is kind of cool to me, not having seen one before).

But this is kind of weird. And I'm hoping for som help from you fine folk.

Every 50 or 60 pieces are marked NIW 6ww.

They look just like 9mm brass. I got out my micrometer and checked them. Well within specs.

What should I do? I pulled them and set them aside to deal with later. Are they safe to use??

Some dyslexic person was working on the type set. 6ww should've been WW6 (upside down 9MM) [:D].

    Ahhhh.
They must have done the WIN upside down as well?

    That would be NIM.

    What a bunch of idiots!!
The entire head stamp was printed upside down!!!???

    They are actually WIN 9mm!!!

    Idiots!!
    I might sue them.

No, no....it's like the "upside down" Jenny stamp all those years ago. That brass must be worth a FORTUNE! [:D]

    I saw some of those!!!

But I figured I'd use them when I was practicing shooting with my left hand.

I have found some of those over the years, usually when I am drunk, standing on my head and looking in a mirror.

    Does that happen often?

those are to be used in chrome or polished stainless steel pistols ONLY!!!!!!!!!! if you look while holding them up to the pistol, you can read the headstamp in the reflection.

In a bag full of 9mm I bought from a collector friend I found several that had a double ring primer seat. When I asked him what it meant he suggested they were machine gun rounds. I never heard of that before. When I fired off a mag full of mixed mfg. rounds, the double ringers seemed to have a louder Crack sound. Or was I dreaming?
