I was standing next to my Mom when she took this pic of my Grandma and her friend at a retirement party for Guide Lamp employee's. Grandma told me about building the M1 carbines and the throw away one shot guns for the French underground that were dropped from airplanes during WWII. She is the one on the right that acted like Granny Clampent on the Beverly Hillbillies. She could sure put a broom on me..

A few years back, I visited with a lady in my wife's Cattle Women organization. Turns out she assembled and test-fired M-2 Brownings during WWII. It was all I could do to not kiss her feet.
Sorry about you loving GM.[:D]
Nice pic...

It is a wooden wheel Chevrolet. Guide Lamp was founded in 1928 and Grandma started in 1933. She worked there for 30 yrs.
