A buddy got in a wreck

I have a buddy that works South of Raleigh but he lives up by me. He has a 30 mile commute and he rides his 98 Harley Classic to work about 60% of the time.

He was stopped at a stop sign and a 21 year old bl*ck kid ran into him. The Kid did not have a drivers license and the SUV(Ford explorer) was his Dads.

My buddy didn't get hurt too bad and his bike is not messed up very much but it was a mess.

Now get this:

The cops gave the kid a ticket for Driving w/o a license and failure the avoid a vehicle(or something like that) and let him drive away...............What he just gave him a ticket for no license and he let him drive away??

Why would they do that?

Around here he would have gotten the ticket and the car would have been towed to the impound lot. Glad your buddy is Ok.

Yep I would think they would have impounded the car also.

My buddy jacked his knee up a little. He told me he was going to the Dr this weekend to get it looked at, he just had ortho done on it.

His bike is not too bad, the kid kind clipped him on the left side. He told me if he had been hit straight on he would have been done, because the kid was going fast.

Either that is not the case, or the cop is either incompetent or doesn't care.

Boys, you just don't get it yet do you? White man's laws do not apply to black people anymore. Get with the times.

My Buddy was not impressed with the Police. There were 2 guys there who were willing to give a statement to the cop and he didn't want them. They both gave my buddy their numbers and address in case he needed a witness and had the cop list them as witnesses.

I need to ask where the cop was from, county or city. The accident was in Wake County in the town of Cary.
