Burning churches...

Apparently several churches with black memberships have been torched in recent days. This is obviously illegal and just wrong, but I wonder how surprised the community organizers are at the reaction to them basically declaring war on white people? You pick one group, blame them for all your problems, condemn them, denounce them, demand that they not only embrace your lifestyle but also pay for it, insult them and tell them they must abandon what is important to them because YOU don't approve...you should not be surprised when they push back.

Is sick, but Lighting and electrical issues burned at least two and it is still added to the total by the news.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

You do have a way of saying a whole lot in a few words. Thank you for a solid dose of common sense.

Seems churches get hit by lightning a lot. Design flaw or is God posting feedback?

Of the 7 churches recently burned at least 2 have been determined to not be arson. I think a couple have been listed as intentional and the others are still under investigation. I said several, not all of the recent fires were arson.

Churches do burn quite often. If you think about it, they are unoccupied much of the time so if something happens nobody is there to catch it in time. Also, many churches, particularly in low income areas, are not in the best shape in regards to wiring, etc.

Another factor is that churches are exempt from some provisions of the Fire Code if they hold < 300 people. They may not have smoke detectors, a fire alarm system, emergency lights, exit lights, etc.

And, many are "ordinary" construction, since wood is cheaper than noncombustible building materials.

Once a fire starts in a building without sprinklers, it often cannot be saved.

So far been hearing news that much of this has been traced to natural causes such as lightning strikes.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We Have A Winner!

The corollary to this question, is how many black churches burned in the recent period before Charleston?

When discussing incidents and statistical probabilities, I always feel it is my sworn duty to remind people that 92.1% of the people who die in car accidents have eaten carrots in the previous 30 days.

And also that 82.3% of statistics are made up on the spot. [8D]

How many Flags have come down? If it is determined Arson is the cause.. I would hold the governor responsible. She started this whole flag issue.

A statistic that will never be found.

Might be some black racist stirring up trouble and If anyone is caught then the full effect of our laws should be used. Who ever it is then apply the law

Doc, you are spot on. A friend told me about this today. I was going a long thinking it was arson, because that is what the news said. Thanks for setting the record straight. oakie

    Not so

Only Bl*ck Lives matter when taken by either the Police or a White person.

I would be willing to bet that the Bl*ck churches that are found to be burned down by arson were burned by Bl*cks seeking controversy and attention or by some white teenagers acting stupid. It was not an "Organized KKK type burning".

    Here ya go:

A Colorado Springs man was arrested after police believe he left racist messages outside a church.

Vincent Broughton, 44, who is black, is facing charges for committed a bias-motivated crime and disorderly conduct.

Here is another one, not a Bl*ck church but a happy man:

    The story:
    http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=35308903

    C&P

Rick Jones, 22, reported he was attacked in April while he was working at the Grand Central Station restaurant, which is run by his family. Jones said a happy slur was carved into his arm after he was knocked unconscious and beaten. The attacker also got away with $1,400 from the business' safe, Jones said at the time.

But Millard County Sheriff Robert Dekker said Tuesday that the assorted crimes were all faked by Jones.

This kind of stuff is happening every day. When you see something on the news about a so called Hate Crime and there is no follow up you can bet it was a fake/self inflected crime.
