How much would a single unfired round of .22 cost if it were worth it's weight in gold at today's market price? I would guess $32.50. I have no scale so I can't really get scientific on it.

$1605.00/oz gold
40 grain .22 LR round weighs in at 3 grams on my close by scale. Don't have a more accurate scale handy.
Just weighed a Rem 40gr thunderbolt...came in at 53grs. CCI 40gr came in at 51.2gr
@$1605.00 Gold
Thunderbolt = $177.28
CCI = $171.20
At $1600/troy ounce that comes out
to a little over $170.

I'd certainly sell too... Who in their right mind would buy?
1 Troy ounce= 1.09714 avoirdupois ounces.
480 grains= 1 Troy ounce
437.5 grains= avoirdupois ounce
Either way it would still be expensive
