I am missing something here.
Obviously not a fan of Doctor Who, are you?

About the character "The Doctor":

It is more likely that Thomas Jefferson was a time traveling alien striving to save Human Civilization than a British actor in a TV series was one of our Founding Fathers.
Still like Jefferson better.
I understood the reference generically, I mean I'd seen a little of the show. That was years and years ago, had never heard of this particular actor. Haven't seen the show since the fourth "Doctor Who" guy.
Still like Jefferson better.
Are you referring to Tom Baker? If so, watch the 2005 reload. Christopher Eccleston was the 9th Doctor for 1 year, then it was David Tennant as the 10th Doctor, followed by Matt Smith as the 11th, and soon we will be seeing new episodes with Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor.
The show turned epic after David Tennant's first season was done.
sharp eye dude......always liked #4 tom baker....played the part with a dash of elan
I'm watching the Tom Baker episodes right now. And forgiving the special effects for their "cheesy" appearance by modern SFX standards, the episodes are very well made, and the acting is pretty good.
WTH are you talking about[?]
Doctor Who.
Even worse, British comedies. Weird sense of humor those Brits.
So, sorry, I haven't seen Dr. Who.
