I have a number in mind for the amount of guns i want. I need 1 more gun to reach that number.

I am good on shotguns and rifles. The only rifle i do not have is a 308 and i will get 1 of them.

I am looking for a pistol. I have enough 22lr, 357, and 38. I have two 45s and two 40s. I dont have a 44 mag.

Any ideas? What would you like for just 1 pistol?

Investing or shooter? Knowing what direction you want to go will help in making an informed suggestion.

    In a 44 Magnum it's either a Smith 29 or a Ruger Super Redhawk.

or a Colt Anaconda or Desert Eagle.

I think I'd like a Desert Eagle if I already had a bunch of revolvers, and semiautos, the DE would be something different from all the rest.

Dan Wesson made a pretty nice .44 magnum. Mine goes bang every time and is quite accurate. Those Smiths and Rugers sure are nice, though.

I have the SW 29... Be sure you get some comfortable grips. [;)]

I'm going to have a Ruger Super Redhawk in the near future.
    I DO love the 44 Mag... [:p]

If you need a 44 Mag then I would choose a nice custom Redhawk like this one:

    image.jpg12_zps3rlokndg.jpg

Gun was built by Chris Rhodes of Bayside Custom Guns, that was a double at 280 Yards.

After all, if your going to limit your guns you might as well make them special.

Honestly if I could buy, or have, just 1 pistol it would be a 10mm on a 1911 frame. I have had a Colt Delta Elite, a CZ/Dan Wesson, AMT and currently own a IAI (AMT) Javelina Hunter with a 7" barrel. I carried a Colt Delta when I was a cop and never felt out gunned. With the right loads it is with-in a RCH of the 41 Magnum.

I have more guns than a normal person has. LOL I have 6 9mms i think. I might have 1 more but i would have to look.

I try and have 2 of every caliber in case of failure. I do not have any guns that are not shooters but i do have a lot of guns i dont shoot.

I really like the Smith model 69 But it can be a handful with the heavy loads

If you don't have a 44 magnum you need one. If you are just going to have one 44 magnum it should be a S&W M29 with a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder and 6" or 4" barrel either blued or nickel(I have both[;)]).

If you reload then a 41 magnum is a great choice. They are the best shooting wheelguns and S&W M57 is a great platform to launch them out of.

For an auto-loader the classics are:

    9MM= Browning High Power

    45 ACP= Colt 1911a1 (nothing newer than a Series 70)
    RLTW
