I reckon if you want one the price of cheese has went up. The Sig 3000 is no longer imported. Glad I got mine last July. I didn't think the import of just the receivers would last long. The guns have started to take an upward price.

    Bolt action receiver made in Germany and imported. Sig dropped the price about a year and a half ago so they could sell them. German receiver imported and an American tactical stock installed.. all for around 1600 dollars when the Original German version sold for over 3K. I picked one up on GunBroker brand new for 1050 dollar. It shoots 1/2 min of angle at 100yd. right out of the box with factory ammo. No clue why they are not importing anymore of them. I did splurge for an extra mag for 65 dollar.

    The German government banned exports of Sigs.

    Mainly due to thousands of them that were imported to the US were sold to the Colombians for the "drug war".

    Magazines for my Accuracy International AW in 7.62 run about $65. I also have an old SSG 69 and I bought a 10 rd mag for it 3 years ago for $80, I thought I stole it.

    Its crazy how much magazines cost now for some guns and how hard they are to find.

    I think they will. I believe they are coming out this year. I have not seen one yet in any stores and online they say "coming soon". If they do work that will be a nice alternative for AI owners and people who have converted to AI Magazine feed system on their 700's and Rugers.
