I went and ordered that trigger hammer and slide release. It will be here Thursday. I watched the youtube video on putting it in and it looks fairly easy. How long did it take you, start to finish????I am pretty good working on guns but this thing looks like it's a little hard to get in right. Did you use the shims and did they come with the package????. I read in the reviews that the shims come with it but in the title decription, it says you have to order them seperate. Thanks Oakie

The buyer paid for your Ruger SBH within three minutes of the auction ending. A really nice guy from Broken Bow,Ok who builds custom rifles in crazy calibers and has them pushing bullets really fast. We talked hunting and guns for fifteen minutes when he called. I won?t have a FFL till the first of the week so let me get the gun to him and I will give you his phone number. Gonna get the rest of your guns listed today.

Does this mean anything to you (as a Ranger) or is it just something a unit gives as a going away gift.

Sam, looks like the Mugabe 'assisted' removal in the Congo has started some folks worrying. Museveni in Uganda is now working hard to make his military 'feel good' about him with a bunch of, as the article called it, 'mass promotions' in the army. Apparently he's trying to prop up his regime before he goes down the same road as the other guy. Any bets if this movement catches fire over there?(Today's Washington Times)
Hopefully you don't have to go out again 'til this this brush fire dies down.

Moccasin creek runs behind my house.[:(]

They did not name it that because of water snakes.

My wife will never set foot in my shop. She is terrified of snakes. I built a new one this spring at the back of the property and she will never walk back there.

Im really really scared of my dogs getting bitten.

I killed a snake about 18 feet from my dog laying on the deck. The snake was stretched out with is head facing my dog. It was about 1 foot from going in the pen.[V]

I lost my Dad in 2014. It came sudden. He woke up to go to the bathroom and fell down and never woke up again.

Prayers for you and your family. I hope things get better for your family.

I went through stage 4 cancer. They cut off about 90% of my tongue. They cut me from ear to ear to remove lymphnodes in my neck. They also cut me from my hip to my knee. They got meat from my thigh to make my tongue. They also took a vein in my leg to make new veins in my mouth.

Add chemo and radiation i went through hell.

No matter what i went through i honestly believe that my wife had it worse than i did. Sometimes i would wake up at night and go see where my wife was and she would be crying. I caught her doing that more than a few times.

Being a caregiver i believe is just as hard or harder than being the sick one. Prayers for you again.

If you ever need someone to talk to that has been there give me a call.

This is for someone else i know up here going through cancer but has not said anything about it. Prayers for you also.

Museveni should be a little worried. He has been in power for a long time but unlike terrorist Bob he has done a good job. He listens to his people and at least gives them the illusion of democracy.

Believe it or not but Uganda has a very good military and one of the most powerful Air Forces in Africa.

He is in Kenya right now. He and Uhuru Kenyatta are going to make a deal on several things one being the war in Somalia and the other is the disputed regions along the border.

Sounds like at least some Ugandan progress has been made since the old days of Idi Amin. I watch events on that continent with some degree of interest. Though traditionally it seems, odds are, similar results eventually come to be with "governments" descending into chaos at some point.
    Can Somalia ever be tamed?
